This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for Scout.YT.
1. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep access (and any remaining subscription credits) until then. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
2. Credits
- Credits are prepaid units consumed as you use the Service (a digital service supplied immediately).
- Consumed credits are non-refundable.
- Unused subscription credits do not roll over and are not refundable when a billing period ends or you cancel.
- Pack credits (one-off top-ups) do not expire while your account is active, but are non-refundable once purchased, except as required by law.
3. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)
Where you qualify as a consumer, EU law grants a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. However, because the Service is supplied immediately and you start consuming credits as soon as you use it, by starting to use the Service you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for the credits already consumed. Any unused, untouched portion may still be withdrawn within 14 days where the law requires.
Business customers (using the Service for professional purposes) are generally not covered by the consumer right of withdrawal.
4. Billing errors & exceptions
If you were charged in error, charged twice, or experienced a significant service failure, contact us at within 14 days and we will review it in good faith and issue a refund where appropriate. This policy does not affect your mandatory statutory rights.
5. How to request
Cancel from your account, or email with your account email and the reason. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method through Stripe.
